In 1983, John and Terri Johnson opened Guaranteed Automotive & Transmission Service in Lafayette, Indiana. Their sons, Clint and Dustin Johnson, grew up in and around the family business. Today, they proudly co-own and operate the company their parents started more than four decades ago.
From the 1980s through the early 2000s, Guaranteed Automotive & Transmission Service specialized exclusively in transmission repair and service. In 2007, as vehicles became increasingly complex, we expanded our services to include complete automotive repair and maintenance while continuing to provide the transmission expertise our company was built on.
